Intervention Counselors

Welcome Message

Welcome to the Reading School District Intervention School Counselor’s Page.  Intervention Counselors provide services that are available to all students and are designed to compliment the existing educational program.  We promote and support the student’s academic and social success, and advocate for and assist students to accomplish tasks associated with their learning, growth and development.

Intervention Counselors demonstrate the ability to maintain effective relationships with students and families, in partnership with the school system and the community.  We identify specific needs, create and implement a success plan based on needs and work in conjunction with the Supervisor of Student Services, School Principal and other school personnel.  We are committed to the importance of continuous school improvement that contributes to appropriate school and learning environments.

Thank you for visiting the Reading School District Intervention Counseling page.  We invite you to contact us and bring us any questions or concerns you have regarding your student in the area of academics, social or emotional wellness. Let’s work together to make this a successful year!
