Text Box: Our School
The Gateway School for Communication and Technology is located in Reading, Pennsylvania. We are a magnet school that provides an opportunity for 6th grade students in our district to discover learning in high-tech style, and motivate them towards productive middle school years.
ComTech Gateway School currently has a 1:2 computing ratio. That's 1 computer to every two students!! Our students have used technology to correspond and conduct culture studies with other students in Japan, Italy, Denmark, Canada, and beyond, create multimedia presentations that would rival some in Corporate America, and use technology to become proactive in their community and in our school.
ComTech Gateway School provides our students with a unique interdisciplinary thematic curriculum that engages minds and motivates students. Our curriculum focuses on real-life problems and solutions, and the impact communication and technology has in solving our world’s problems, our communities problems, and understanding the world around us.
Our goal is to elevate each child and provide him or her with a focus on his or her future and an understanding of their potential to make a difference in this world.

Best Wishes for A Successful and Enjoyable Year.
