History of 10th &
Penn
In 1996, The Reading School District Board
of Directors approved 10th & Penn Elementary
School as the 14th Elementary School in The
Reading School District. Historically this site
has seen many faces. Meridian Bank donated the
building to the district, and in the Fall of 1997
it opened as The 10th & Penn Elementary
School.
