The Third Grade is currently reading a story about the Olympics in their anthology.  Mrs. Kaufman’s daughter, Katie, was in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She was a member of the U.S. Field Hockey team. Mrs. Kauffman showed the classes her daughter’s uniforms, various medals, and other memorabilia from the event. Mrs. Kauffman is a Teacher Assistant at 13th & Union.
