Reading Defeats Tampa Bay

By: Gacova Orozco, Staff Writer

The previous two seasons were relief seasons for the Reading Phillies.  Very few people could have forgotten about Ryan Madison, starting as pitcher through his minor league career.
This coming spring, Madison hopes to be refreshed of some particular memories as Ryan makes the change back to starting pitcher.
His first start produced a very good sign in the Tuesday game.  In the third inning of the game, Madison got a one hit one run in.  Reading Phillies won 5 to 4 over the Tampa Bay Ray Devils.
"It was a very good hit," said Madison. Also it is said that he is staying consistent with the fastballs that he throws.  Ryan is concentrating very hard on keeping his consistency.
"Madison wants to throw 85 to 100 fast balls," said Charlie Manuel the manger of the Reading Phillies.

Good Luck to All Spring Sports!
