          Despite the doubtful chance of the paper's success, staff members were still hopeful. Ideas were thrown around - some workable, some just crazy. Until a glimmer of hope fell from the sky: the Internet.
          Yes, a paper could be published online. It could be personalized, ad-free, and instant.       Almost like it's too good to be true. Almost.    Sixteen issues later, and the paper has become an incredible success story. The
Red and Black      exceeded any expectations.

          Now, a full year after the 04-05's last     edition, our school paper has a much more         secure future - and past. For now and the school years to come, the tradition remains strong.

**Next year the Red and Black will be both printed and online!
