Pump, Pump, Pump It Up by: Beth Rogala, Sports Editor
Cheerleaders are a main part of Reading High. Most people don't know it, but they really are. Cheerleaders bring pep and spunk to school sports. In the fall they cheer for football and soccer, and in the winter they cheer for basketball and wrestling. Then in winter and spring, the cheerleaders participate in competitions. This years coaches are Lyn Hazzard and Lori Kramer. Squad captains are Marley Kasper and Kendra Poulson (seniors), and Lindsey Reichelt and Jazzlyn Cruz (sophomores). Practices are held 2 days a week. With all the cheers the cheerleaders shout, Reichelt's favorite cheer is "Who are we - RHS". To check out all the squad's work, go to a football or soccer game. Go and help the cheerleaders pep up the crowds!
