The Plato software is designed to identify a person's weaknesses in various subject areas. After these areas of weakness are defined the software then begins a training program addressing these problem areas. The software uses tutorials to teach the material, practice drills to reinforce the knowledge, and tests to check for mastery of the material. It then moves on to the next area of concern.
