Intro to Computer Art and Technology I - .5 credit - 6pd/cyl sem - Grades 9 -12

This is an introductory computer art course designed to incorporate digital media experiences as means of visual art expression. Students will complete drawing painting and design work using a variety of software programs. Application and knowledge of the visual language of design is required. This is an art production course.

Intro to Computer Art and Technology II - .5 credit - 6pd/cyl sem - Grades 9 -12 Prerequisite: Intro to Computer Art and Technology I, Intro to Art or the equivalent

This course is a continuation and expansion of the themes and technology presented in Art Technology I.

Computer Art and Technology III - .5 credit - 6pd/cyl sem - Grades 10 -12 Prerequisite: Intro to Computer Art and Technology II

This course combines advanced level experiences with a variety of software programs, scanning and digital photography. It is particularly important for the student who is interested in a career in communications or design.

Studio Art Tech - 1 credit - 6pd/cyl sem - Grades 11 -12 Prerequisite: Successful completion of a "C"or better in Art Tech III.

This is an advanced program in art technology with a variety of software programs, scanning, digital photography, and web design. Students will build their own portfolio web page.
