Greetings from the Principal

  • It gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your child to Glenside Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year!  The beginning of the school year is one of our favorite times and we can’t wait to embark on a new year filled with exciting experiences and hands-on learning. My name is Mrs. Paige Weitzel and it is my honor to introduce myself as the Acting Principal of Glenside Elementary. I have over twenty years with Reading School District, and I am excited to serve the Glenside community. It is my goal to ensure that our children continue to receive quality education in an environment that is safe and nurturing every day.

    The Glenside Elementary School staff is here to build a school where all student learning is cultivated through hands-on experiences that will assist students in making a positive difference in our schools and our community. Our focus is on academic achievement, coupled with multiple educational opportunities, that will ensure students are college and career ready.

    I look forward to continuing the sense of family and tradition that has always been a part of the Glenside Elementary experience. As Acting Principal, I will always maintain an open-door policy.
