PA Law mandates that every child in kindergarten through 12th grade must be fully immunized by the 5th day of school. In Reading School District, that date is September 6, 2017. For more information on the vaccines your child needs or to make an appointment at one of our FREE Summer Vaccine Clinics, contact the nurse at your child’s school.
To help parents and guardians, Reading School District will have FREE Vaccine Clinics during the summer months at Reading Intermediate High School, located at 215 N. 12th Street in Reading. Appointments are highly recommended and can be made by parents or guardians by contacting the school nurse at his/her child’s school.
Walk-in appointments will also be taken if the parent or guardian accompanies the child. Parents or guardians must bring the child’s most current vaccine record. Parents or guardians who bring their child for walk-in appointment should expect to be at the clinic for up to 30 minutes in order to complete all paperwork. They should not arrive less than 30 minutes prior to the end of each clinic session. Please note: Scheduled appointments will be given priority over walk-in appointments. Parking is available at Reading Intermediate High School.
