Kudos to RHS junior Janeice Burns, who is organizing a local March for Our Lives on Saturday, March 24. The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. in City Park, continue up Walnut Street to 13th Street and end at the Castle Steps.
For the Kids
High five for our RHS students who are planning a MiniThon to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Save the date for their Glow-Thon on Saturday, April 14 from 2-9 p.m. at the Geigle Complex. More information to come.
Shout out to our Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center students who participated in #FCCLA Competitions this week! We'll share a complete list of winners when we receive it.

Props to our RHS Aquatics Program for "freezing for a reason!" Current swimmers, coaches, alumni and friends participated in the YMCA's annual Polar Plunge on Saturday. The team raised about $1,500.

District III Championship
T-Shirts For Sale
The RHS Athletic Department is taking orders for District III Basketball Championship T-shirts. T-shirts are available in Adult Sizes - Small through 3XL. Cost is $15 each. Money and orders are due in the Athletic Office by 3 p.m. on Friday, March 23. Contact Debbie Hiester at Ext. 81070 (internal) or 484-258-7436.
Red Knight Flags for Sale
The Reading High School Virtual Enterprise class is selling Red Knight flags. As part of the class’s social entrepreneurship theme, 20% of the money raised will be donated to the Reading YMCA to help homeless teens. Cost is $18. Make checks payable to: RHS – P3 VEI Class. Deadline is March 28, and delivery is scheduled for the third week in April. To order, contact teacher Rick Gochnauer, Room 210 at Reading High School, or call RHS at 610-371-5705.
