Reminder: Parent-Teacher Conferences

  • Reminder: Reading School District will have elementary parent-teacher conferences from Tuesday, April 24 through Friday, April 27. On those days, elementary schools ONLY will dismiss at 12:40 p.m. PreK-AM will be held from 8:05 a.m. to 9:55 a.m., and PreK-PM will be held from 11:05 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. If you have questions, please contact your child's school directly.

Special Note: PreK and Kindergarten Registration

  • PreK and Kindergarten Registration begins in May. For complete enrollment information, requirements and registration dates, visit www.ReadingSD.org/enrollment.

  • Hitting the right notes
    Congratulations to the Indoor Percussion Team, which was featured in the Reading Eagle on Sunday.

    The team will defend its championship title and host the Indoor Chapter Championships from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 at the Geigle Complex. The competition is open to the public. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students with a valid student I.D.

    Friday, May 4
    The Superintendent’s Office has approved a districtwide Reach Higher Day on Friday, May 4. Staff members and students will be allowed and encouraged to wear college apparel to school.

  • Vintage Yearbooks
    The RHS Library has a collection of vintage yearbooks available from: 1976, 1977, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1990 and 1991. The yearbooks are free for anyone interested, however, they cannot be shipped. You must be pick them up at Reading High School before June 1. Interested? Call Librarian Janet Trate at RHS at 610-371-5705.
