  • United Way of Berks County serves tens of thousands of Berks Countians from all over our community each year, including our staff members, students and 30,649 residents in Reading.  Last year, more than 100,000 local children, families and seniors benefited from more than 50 United Way funded programs.

U-Knighted Goal

  • Stand U-Knighted with RSD! Our district goal is to raise $30,000 for United Way of Berks County and local organizations.

    Starting Friday, October 5, e-pledge forms will be sent to employees via your district e-mail.

    If you are a staff member who does not have a district e-mail address, a personalized paper pledge form will be available at your building. Please ask your building principal for your form.

    We're more than half way there! E-pledge forms were e-mailed today, loaned campaign specialists visited many schools, and we've raised $15,144! Thank you to everyone who has donated. Please encourage your coworkers to donate, too. Every dollar counts!

Paper Pledge Forms

  • United Way paper pledge forms were sent to each building in early October for those staff members who do not have district e-mail addresses. If you are an employee without an e-mail address but you are interested in donating to this year's RSD United Way Campaign, you can pick up your form from your building principal or main office. Completed forms should be returned inter-office mail to the Superintendent's Office in the Administration Building as soon as possible.
