The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

    Six awkward spelling champions learn that winning (and losing) isn't everything. A hilarious time, complete with audience participation, THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE is a fast-paced crowd-pleaser and an instant musical theatre fan favorite.

    This show is rated PG13 for adult language and humor. (Parents cautioned, some material may not be suitable for children 13 and younger.)

     

Know Before You Arrive

  • You may buy tickets at the door or use the link and purchase them online. It's general admission seating. No reserved seats. Doors to the auditorium open 30 minutes before the performance. If you purchase online please have the ticket ready to show us on your phone (or print it out before you arrive).
    The show runs about 100 minutes long. It will be performed WITHOUT an intermission. Snacks will be on sale in the lobby before the show. 
    How to enter Reading High School: The "castle steps" are open once again. Please enter up the steps and into the lobby of the auditorium. The parking lots off Oley Street are available for the public to park during performances. Wheelchair accessible entrance is in the driveway around the back.

  • Announcing our Fall Show 2022: 
     
    Our production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will take place on November 18 and 19 in the Reading High School Auditorium at 7:30 pm. We welcome all members of the public to attend (the show is rated PG13).Note: there are only two evening performances of this show. 
    Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. It's general admission seating. You can purchase tickets in person at the door or in advance online using the link below.
