RFP Proposal for On-Demand Tutoring

The Reading School District (“RSD”) is seeking proposals for at least one (1) third-party provider (the “Provider”) to administer high quality on demand virtual tutoring at Reading High School. The initial term of this contract will be for one (1) year with the option of two (2) one-year extensions, and the potential to include other schools and/or grade levels during the second and third year of service. Proposals will be reviewed by RSD administration to identify the most appropriate Provider who has the capacity to effectively provide virtual tutoring services.
Prospective Providers (“Proposers”) must direct and confine all inquiries and communications concerning this RFP to Andrew Ogot. Proposers are encouraged to submit any questions as soon as possible. Still, no later than October 4, 2023, at 4 p.m. Questions should include “On Demand Virtual Tutoring RFP” in the subject line to ensure it is identified as relating to this RFP. Reading School District Copy Paper Bid 2023-2024
The board of directors requests bids for supplies as specified on the attached checklist. See terms and conditions attached hereto and considered part of hereof.
All bids must be received at the purchasing office, 800 Washington Street, Reading PA, 19601 by 11am EST on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Bids received thereafter will be rejected. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11 am on the same day in the Library Room of the Administration Building. The signed original and the copy of the bid must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid title.

RSD RFP TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

The Reading School District (“RSD” or the “district”) is soliciting proposals from qualified student transportation services contractors to provide safe, reliable, cost-effective, and efficient transportation services for students deemed eligible for transportation by the district. The District currently contracts with two school bus vendors, with one contract expiring June 30th, 2024, and the other running through June 30, 2026.
The district is requesting that all interested parties provide proposals that include two potential contract options. Those options are as follows:
- A period of performance of three (3) years, beginning no later than July 1, 2024, and ending on June 30, 2027, with two (2) one-year renewal options
- A period of performance of five (5) years, beginning no later than July 1, 2024, and ending on June 30, 2029, with two (2) one-year renewal options
