R U OK? What is Your Story?

  • R U OK? In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week in October 2018, our courageous RHS students were among the local teens who created this powerful video, “The Start of Your Story,” to share the struggles they are facing in today’s world and how adults can support them.

The video was part of a conference, held at DoubleTree By Hilton Reading, that they planned for their peers throughout the county. The conference covered a variety of topics, including coping with pressure from peers, learning how to accept differences in others and themselves, dealing with stress in their lives and recognizing the importance of good mental health. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a teacher, school counselor, administrator or social worker. They are here to help you. If you need immediate assistance, call 1-877-236-4600 or 610-236-0530.
