EARLY CAREER ACADEMY

Our Vision:
RSD uses a blended approach to learning between Reading High School, Reading Area Community College, and business partners to ignite the infinite potential of students and transforms that potential into reality.

A different approach to learning IN RSD:
The Early Career Academy helps students learn in a unique setting. Students have the opportunity to grow and learn by using different skills and learn about experiences in the workforce.

What is the Early Career Academy experience?
The Early Career Academy helps students learn in a unique setting. Students have the opportunity to grow and learn by using different skills and learn about experiences in the workforce.

Student Eligibility:

• Attends an RKAA (Red Knight Accelerated Academy) site 
• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• 2 days a week - career site 3 days a week - 1/2 day students are off-siteat a training location provided by the City of Reading
• All courses or certifications at RACC 
• Recommended by staff, teachers, or administrator 
• Student must have desire to enter a workforce career post graduation
