Free Admission for RSD Students to Home Sporting Events
Starting with Friday night’s Homecoming Football Game on Sept. 27, Reading School District students will receive free admission to all RHS home sporting events (excluding tournaments) until capacity is reached.
For each sporting event, free tickets will be available for all Reading High and virtual academy students in grades 9-12, and an additional 100 free tickets will be available for any elementary, middle school or virtual academy students in grades PreK-8. Students must be in good standing to receive a free ticket, and a parent must accompany students in grades PreK-8 during the entire sporting event.

Here’s how it will work:
To receive free Homecoming Football Game Tickets for September 27:
RSD and Reading Virtual Academy Students in Grades PreK-8: A parent can pick up a free Homecoming Football Game ticket for his/her child by visiting the RHS Athletic Department Office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Free tickets for students in grades PreK-8 will be limited to 100.
RHS Students in Grades 9-12: Pick up a free Homecoming Football Game ticket in the main cafeteria or senior cafeteria during your lunch period on Wednesday or Thursday. Reading Virtual Academy students can visit the RHS Athletic Office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to get a Homecoming Football Game ticket.
Reading-Muhlenberg Career and Technology Students in Grades 9-12: Pick up a free Homecoming Football Game ticket during your lunch period on Wednesday or Thursday.
RKAA Students in Grades 9-12: Pick up a free Homecoming Football Game ticket from the assistant principal at your RKAA Campus.
To receive free sporting tickets (excluding tournaments) moving forward:

Free tickets for students in grades PreK-8 will be limited to 100 for each sporting event.
RHS, Reading-Muhlenberg Career and Technology and Reading Virtual Academy Students in Grades 9-12: Pick up a free game ticket in the RHS Athletic Department Office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Once student IDs are distributed at school, you will be able to show your current 2019-20 student ID at the door/gate for free admission.
RKAA Students in Grades 9-12: Pick up a free game ticket from the assistant principal at your RKAA Campus. Once student IDs are distributed at school, you will be able to show your current 2019-20 student ID at the door/gate for free admission.
