Assistant Principal featured on WFMZ-Channel 69

Matt Messick, assistant principal at Riverside Elementary, was featured on WFMZ after he traveled to watch the Eagles’ plane land on Monday afternoon and see the Lombardi Trophy in person.

“I was in a West Chester WaWa when I got the call that school was canceled. My daughter was at my parents’ house in Aston, PA about 15 minutes from the airport so I had to go back and pick her up. I made contact with a buddy because I heard the plane was landing around 3 p.m. and we just made it happen. It was awesome. We were one of the first 50 people there but by the end there had to be a few thousand people there. I have been a Eagles fan my whole life. I still watch as many games as possible at my parents’ house with my three brothers and our families.” #RSDproud
