Construction Delay for 10th and Green
As you may be aware, there has been extensive construction at 10th & Green this summer. Despite our best intentions, construction challenges, including material delays and a shortage of manpower, have delayed the first day of school for students.
The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, August 31. These two extra days will enable teachers and staff to ensure that all spaces are clean, safe, and ready to accept students. Please note that we will need to make up the two days that will be missed, however, those make-up days have not yet been determined.
Building Improvements
Upon completion of this project, the following improvements will greet you and your student:

Creation of a secure entry including renovations to and reconfiguration of the main office
-
Exterior window and door replacement
-
Installation of an elevator
-
Two new ADA compliant bathrooms
-
Repairs to the brick on the outside of the building to ensure a safe and weather-tight building exterior
-
Partial sidewalk and parking lot repair
