3 Things for RSD Families to Know This Week
2023 Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program
This year’s summer breakfast and lunch program will run Mondays to Thursdays from June 20 – July 13 for all participating elementary and middle schools, and from June 20 – July 27 for the Reading Senior High School and Oakbrook mobile sites. RKAA City Line will be open from June 20 - August 3.
Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The program will NOT be open on Fridays or Tuesday, July 4th.
All children from the community are welcome to participate - students under the age of 18 and special needs under the age of 21. Parents/adults are not allowed to enter the program sites.
Graduation
Congratulations to Reading High School’s Class of 2023! A total of 958 graduates received their diplomas at our graduation ceremony this past Tuesday.
And, we made the news!

Tres detalles que las familias del Distrito Escolar de Reading deben saber esta semana
Programa de desayuno y almuerzo de verano de 2023
Este año el programa de desayuno y almuerzo de verano se llevará a cabo de lunes a jueves del 20 de junio al 13 de julio para todas las escuelas primarias e intermedias participantes, y RKAA City Line y del 20 de junio al 27 de julio para los sitios ambulantes de la Escuela Secundaria Reading y Oakbrook. RKAA City Line estará operando del 20 de junio al 3 de agosto.
El desayuno se servirá a las 8 a.m. y el almuerzo se servirá de 11:30 a.m hasta la 1:00 p.m
El programa NO estará abierto los viernes ni el martes 4 de julio.
Todos los niños de la comunidad son bienvenidos a participar: estudiantes menores de 18 años y estudiantes con necesidades especiales menores de 21 años. Los padres/adultos no pueden ingresar a los sitios del programa.
