What makes you #RSDproud?
It makes me #RSDproud to see the passion and dedication that our teachers and administration have for our students. Day in and day out I get to witness the hard work and compassion our teachers portray to our students. Of couse, I must add that it makes me #RSDProud to watch my husband do what he loves to do -- coach basketball! GO RED KNIGHTS!
What’s your favorite family tradition?
My favorite family tradition is going to home of Mr. and Mrs. Flowers on Christmas Eve. My parents, Ricks parents, and our friends all gather together under one roof, which makes it even more special to me. This evening is full of love, family, friendship, smiles, laughs and genuine fun. This is something that we have been doing for the last 14 years or so. Oh Yeah, the most important detail of the evening, Santa also comes to visit the kiddies and take pictures.
What is your cellphone wallpaper?
My lock screen is of my husband Rick and I at the NBA Draft. My unlocked screen is one of my children.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first concert that I ever attended was the Janet Jackson, Velvet Rope tour. Usher was her opener and to be honest the only reason we went… Front Row! After Ushers performance, Puff Daddy was standing right in front of me. I introduced myself and shook his hand which completed my evening. When people tell you they cry when they meet a celebrity, it’s a real thing, and something that just happens.. lol! I watched Janet Jacksons opening song and left right after that.
If there were 25 hours in a day, how would you spend your extra hour?
If I had an extra hour at the end of my day, I would spend it snuggling with my husband and my children.. all 5 of us. With the schedule that we keep, many of our evenings during the week are spent on the go until bedtime. I would use that extra hour to decompress and talk about our day.
What is your favorite movie?
I have two actually -- Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman. I am a sucker for a good love story.
