Reading High School has been recognized as a Top 50 CLEP® High School, an incredible national honor awarded to schools whose students earned the highest number of college credits through CLEP exams during the 2024–25 academic year! This achievement highlights the dedication of our students, educators, and staff who continue to push academic boundaries and prepare for bright futures beyond graduation. Credits are awarded based on ACE-recommended guidelines.
The CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) is the most widely trusted credit-by-examination program in the country, accepted by more than 3,000 colleges and universities. With 34 CLEP subjects to choose from—and access to practice and preparation resources—students have more opportunities than ever to challenge themselves and earn college credit while still in high school.
This year marks the inaugural Top 50 CLEP High School Achievement Awards, celebrating schools that empower students to get a head start on their college journey.
