November Staff Shout-Outs
Liz Miller, Assistant Principal at Northwest Area Elementary School - Thank you Mrs. Miller for your dedication to all our students at NWAE! We know a lot of work goes into planning our monthly PBIS activities and your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed! We appreciate you and thank you for making NWAE an outstanding place to work!
Greg Zelinske, STEM Teacher at Central Middle School - Mr. Zelinske takes on a great deal of responsibility at CMS and does a great job with all of it! Recently, he helped organize a pep rally that - in my opinion - was CMS's best yet! Mr. Zelinske also had a great idea of having student-led news in the morning and the students love it. Mr. Zelinske is a leader for other teachers and is always available to help support others in any way he can. Thank you Mr. Zelinske for all that you do!
Deborah Smith, Teacher Assistant at 10th and Green Elementary School - I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate Mrs. Deborah Smith for her incredible dedication and tireless efforts at our school at Tenth and Green. As an emotional support teacher assistant, she goes above and beyond to provide our students with the support they need, always bringing compassion and understanding to her role. Mrs. Smith's warm smile and welcoming presence at the school entrance, both at the start and end of each day, set a positive tone for everyone. She greets each student and family member with genuine kindness, making our school feel like a true community. Additionally, her exceptional care for our daycare students during dismissal and busing is commendable. She ensures that each child feels safe and looked after, always putting their needs first. Thank you kindly, Mrs. Smith, for your unwavering commitment and the positive impact you have on our school every day. We appreciate you more than words can express! Keep shining!
Sterling Young-Trapp, 8th Grade Head Football Coach, Reading High School - Coach Young-Trapp went above and beyond to include one of our students on the football team! It was close to the end of the season, but he still recognized the importance and what it would mean to this student to be a part of the team and was proactive and went above and beyond to make it happen! Thank you SO much for your support and providing such a bright light in a students world when he needed it most!
