2026–2027 RSD Fundraising Campaign

It’s time to give back, make an impact, and earn some pretty great Red Knight perks along the way! The 2026–2027 Reading School District Voluntary Payroll Deduction Fundraising Campaign officially kicks off Tuesday, September 8, 2026 and runs through Friday, November 13, 2026.

This year, your generosity will support two incredible organizations making a difference right here in our community:

Reading Education Foundation
United Way of Reading and Berks County

You can support one organization or BOTH, it’s completely up to you!

Incentive distribution will begin in early October. More details will be shared on dates, times and location.

How to Donate

Keep an eye on your inbox! You will receive two separate emails, one from the Reading Education Foundation and one from United Way.

Simply click the donation link in the email from the organization you would like to support.

Want to support both? Even better! Complete a donation through each organization’s email. The District will combine your contributions when determining your RSD incentive level.

For example, if you donate $275 to the Reading Education Foundation + $275 to United Way = $550 total, you qualify for the $550 RSD incentive. Your $275 United Way contribution will also count toward any applicable United Way giving level.

Payroll deductions begin January 2027.

Early Bird Week 
Any employee who donates at least $15 between Tuesday, September 8 and Friday, September 11 will automatically be entered into a raffle to win:

ONE DAY OFF WITH PAY!
We’ll select one professional staff member and one support staff member as winners! Winners will coordinate their day off with their direct supervisor.

Early Bird Week donors will also be entered to win RSD swag, including Red Knight stickers, pens, stress balls, lanyards and pop sockets as an extra incentive!
