CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL
Central Middle School will run a full day schedule for all students in grades 5-8 on Monday, August 25th, due to transportation. Breakfast will not be served, but lunch will be provided. Students will report to school by 8:25 a.m. and will be dismissed at 3:25 p.m.
Bus students should report to their bus stops at the regularly scheduled times. Bus routes are available to view on the Transportation page of the district website. Please visit Transportation page

Reading High School Main Campus
Please note that no breakfast or lunch will be served on the first day of school except for Special Education low-incidence students. ALL students will be served breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, August 27th.
There will be no CTC on the first day of school. CTC for Reading High School students will start on Tuesday, August 26th.
First Day of School Schedule for RHS:
Doors will open at 7:10 a.m. for student arrival.
12th & 11th grade please arrive at 7:30 AM at the Castle Steps.
10th grade please arrive at 9:00 AM at the Castle Steps.
9th grade please arrive at 11:15 AM at the Castle Steps.
The first day of CTC for all campuses is Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
*Special Education low-incidence students will report for a regular full day from 7:30 am - 2:40 pm.

All students will be issued a school picture ID. Students are required to have it on them at all times.
Students should bring their school-issued Chromebooks (and chargers) if they have one.

2025 MAKE-UP PHYSICAL UPDATE: Hello! The location for tonight's make-up sports physicals at Northwest Middle School has moved from the gym to the cafeteria of Northwest Middle School. Please park behind the school and enter at door 14 on McKnight St. to make your way up to the cafeteria.
All attendees for the physicals need to complete their Planet HS accounts so that they can receive the physicals.

🥫Next Week 13th and Union will be holding a "Soup-er bowl" can drive! Please help us collect non- perishable food items to be donated to Helping Harvest. Students will be able to place their canned goods next to the team they think will win the superbowl! Food items can be brought in between February 3rd-February 7th! 🥫
Who will it be? The Chiefs or the Eagles!? 🏈🦅

🌟 What an AMAZING trip for our 4th graders at 13th and Union Elementary! 🌟
The 4th-grade class got to take a field trip to the Reading Science Center to explore the fascinating world of Bioluminescence & Chemiluminescence! 🦋✨ It was a day full of hands-on learning, big smiles, and lots of "wow!" moments. The kids can’t wait to share their newfound knowledge about the science of light with their friends & families! 🌟🌍
