The NEMS 6th Grade Black Team had an outstanding day today at Longwood Gardens near Kennett Square. Students learned about the DuPont Family, the history of the homestead, and the expansion of the gardens over the years. We were fortunate enough to view the fountain show, visit the conservatory, walk through the topiary gardens, climb the tree house, sit on the whispering bench, and so much more!
Thank you to Ms. Coe for organizing the trip and to Mrs. Sgroi for running today's tour! We had a blast!

El grupo de 6.º grado de NEMS Black Team ha pasado un día estupendo hoy en Longwood Gardens, cerca de Kennett Square. Los alumnos han aprendido sobre la familia DuPont, la historia de la finca y la expansión de los jardines a lo largo de los años. Hemos tenido la suerte de ver el espectáculo de la fuente, visitar el invernadero, pasear por los jardines topiarios, subir a la casa del árbol, sentarnos en el banco de los susurros y mucho más.
¡Gracias a la Sra. Coe por organizar el viaje y a la Sra. Sgroi por dirigir la visita de hoy! ¡Nos lo hemos pasado genial!
