NEMS 6th Grade students in Mr. Noll's 2nd Period class had a group of special visitors drop by to talk about local government. Mayor Eddie Moran and members of his Reading City team spoke to Mr. Noll's students about their roles in city government and the work that they do. It was a great opportunity for students to ask questions and speak candidly with the mayor and his team.
A special "shout out" to our local government officials for taking the time to visit NEMS...and to Mr. Brad Binder and Mr. Tyler Moran for helping organize this visit!
Los alumnos de 6.º curso de NEMS de la clase del Sr. Noll, en la segunda hora, recibieron la visita de un invitado especial que vino a hablarles sobre el gobierno local. El alcalde Eddie Moran y los miembros de su equipo del Ayuntamiento de Reading hablaron a los alumnos del Sr. Noll sobre sus funciones en el gobierno municipal y el trabajo que realizan. Fue una gran oportunidad para que los alumnos hicieran preguntas y conversaran con franqueza con el alcalde y su equipo.
