Get ready for an afternoon of fun as we kick off the new school year at the Reading School District Back to School Bash on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 3:00–6:00 PM at FirstEnergy Stadium (rain date: August 6)! Enjoy free food, backpack giveaways, raffles (while supplies last), and activities for the whole family. Meet with more than 75 community organizations, explore valuable resources, and learn about local employment opportunities. This free event is open to all Reading School District families with students in Pre-K through 12th grade, and transportation will be available. We can't wait to celebrate the start of another amazing school year with you!
Arrival: The event starts at 3pm! You will start by stopping at your child’s school table to meet with your school staff and get some back to school information!
At your school table, you will get two vouchers: one for food and one for school supplies (supplies are limited and first come, first served)
Then you can enter the stadium and find the following:

If your child is low incidence (autistic support, multiple disabilities support, emotional support, lifeskills support), remember that your check in will be by the third base door where you can get your lanyard and enjoy the rest of the event!

Food: the food vouchers will be accepted at the stadium concession stands, but they are also open for purchases and if you have picky eaters, you can bring your own food!

¡Esperamos verlos en el 4.º fiestón del regreso a clases este miércoles 5 de agosto! ¡Contamos con más de 1000 asistentes y más de 50 agencias comunitarias y muchas actividades! Para ayudarles a planificar su visita, a continuación encontrarán información importante.
Llegada: ¡El evento comienza a las 3:00 p. m.! Primero debe pasar por la mesa correspondiente a la escuela de su hijo para conocer al personal escolar y recibir información sobre el regreso a clases.
En dicha mesa, recibirán dos vales: uno para la comida y otro para útiles escolares (las existencias son limitadas y se entregarán por orden de llegada).
Luego, podrán entrar al estadio y encontrar lo siguiente:

Si su hijo recibe servicios de educación especial para necesidades de baja incidencia (apoyo para autismo, discapacidades múltiples, apoyo emocional o desarrollo de habilidades para la vida diaria), recuerde que el registro se realizará en la puerta que está más cerca de la tercera base; allí podrá recoger su tarjeta de identificación (colgante) y disfrutar del resto del evento.
Transporte: Nuestros autobuses realizarán recorridos continuos durante el evento desde ocho puntos diferentes de la ciudad, cada media hora. Obtengan más información aquí.
