2025 MAKE-UP PHYSICAL UPDATE: Hello! The location for tonight's make-up sports physicals at Northwest Middle School has moved from the gym to the cafeteria of Northwest Middle School. Please park behind the school and enter at door 14 on McKnight St. to make your way up to the cafeteria.

All attendees for the physicals need to complete their Planet HS accounts so that they can receive the physicals.

At Tyson-Schoener, our amazing students have been busy bringing our garden to life!

With helping hands and big smiles, they planted sunflowers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and a rainbow of flowers in the spring.

All summer long, they've worked side-by-side with their teachers, pulling weeds and making sure every plant gets the water it needs.

Now, the garden is blooming beautifully—and it's all thanks to their care, teamwork, and a little bit of sunshine. It's incredible to see what can grow with love and dedication! 🌻🍅🌼

We are incredibly grateful to Halter Landscaping for their generous donation of 400 Pocono stones! Thanks to their kindness, our students were able to create a beautiful Kindness Rock Garden—a space filled with color, creativity, and inspiring messages that reflect the heart of our school community. This project wouldn’t have been possible without their support, and we’re so thankful for their investment in our students and the positive impact they’ve made!

🎉📚 Way to go, 1st Grade! 📚🎉 Our amazing 1st graders were the first grade level to return ALL of their library books this year — and they earned a sweet reward! 🍭📖 To celebrate their responsibility and teamwork, they enjoyed a delicious popsicle treat from our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Dower! 🍦💙 We're so proud of their hard work and love for reading. Keep it up, future bookworms! 🐛✨

🎉☀️ Tyson-Schoener Field Day was a *huge* hit! 💪🏃‍♀️🎈 Our students showed off their teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit in a fun-filled day of races, games, and outdoor excitement! From tug-of-war to relay races, every moment was packed with energy and smiles. 💥🎽💙 A big THANK YOU to our amazing staff, volunteers, and families who helped make this day unforgettable! 🫶

📚💛 Our Kindergartners had a storybook day at the Reading Public Library! 🎉 They enjoyed a magical storytime and a fun hands-on craft—all thanks to the warm welcome from the best library around! 🏆✨ The smiles, laughter, and creativity were nonstop. 🖍️📖 We’re so grateful for our amazing local library and the joy it brings to young readers. Thank you, RPL, for making learning so much fun!

🐮A big thank you to our amazing librarian, Mrs. Burns, who helped our 1st graders participate in the *Discover Dairy & Adopt A Cow* program! 🐄 🐮Thanks to her dedication, they even won a grant for a field trip to the farm to meet their adopted cow. 🐄 🐮It was a wonderful learning experience, and everyone had a fantastic time!🐄

Author and illustrator Ross Burach visited Tyson-Schoener this week! Students had the opportunity to learn about drawing, brainstorming, and exploring their creativity.🦋🐛📚
